Staff Extremely good and very helpful nothing too much trouble will certainly use them again

I've just started to play golf and went to the store to get sized up for my first set of clubs. I was expecting a load of chat with a view of spending a fortune, I did not get any of that, I was served by John and got some great advice, nothing was to much trouble. First class customer service.
I would really rate it better, but as with all businesses the front line staff are crucial in customer satisfaction. Dependent on the staff my experience is very mixed from excellent to very disappointing. I often visit the unit at Becketts farm and have purchased goods there and use the driving range - I would like to think myself a regular. The other day I had already hit 100 balls and decided to hit another 50 I was 5p short of 4.50 and asked if I could still have the 50 balls (maybe slightly cheeky) but I was flatly turned down and no consideration as to how often I go there or my previous or future potential custom was factored in by the person. If that were my business I would be very upset with that member of staff's attitude and not being able to see past the rules - I am seriously considering never going back (all for 5p) - Sad isn't it. I know that I should see past this but it really upset me that I wasn't valued enough to forget the 5p
