Omg they do the best breakfasts ever here. Enormous as well. My other half can really polish one off whilst I enjoy an eggs Benedict. Highly recommend, but made sure you book especially on a Sunday morning.
Becketts breakfast. 7 of us - 4 adults and 3 children. Had 2 of the sharing platters for 4. Absolutely lovely excellent service. Waitress was brilliant. Very good value for what we had. Not an awful lot left!
Love this place. Its a really lovely cross between a classic farm shop and a more modern offering with a lovely restaurant tagged onto the side. The bakery here is wonderful and the hot savouries (pasties, sausage rolls ext) are the best around. They have a wide variety of fresh fruit and veg available and the butchers counter is always well stocked.You can also buy cheese and deli meats/snacks here, there is a sandwich bar which offers freshly made sandwiches and baguettes to order and they have lots of gifts and other bits and bobs too.Definitely worth a visit
Great Sunday carvery, served by the chefs. Great choice of veg to go with it. Superb service by the staff. My one little comment is that we went into the farm shop looking for soup to have later in the day..only heinz tinned on offer. Still 5*, but if you make soup for the restaurant could you look into putting some on the deli for takeaway? I think that was the one and only thing missing.
A great breakfast if maybe a little large. You definitely wont leave hungry. These is a reason why you have to book to guarantee a table. The staff are friendly and helpful and service is top notch. The food is all sourced locally. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to answer questions. Definitely worth a visit just make sure you remember to book.
